MAYWOOD BUZZ AND ORLANDO ACE ADDED TO ABA ALL STAR TEAMS
Monday, January 22, 2007Indianapolis, IN -- The American Basketball Association announced that players from the Maywood Buzz and the Orlando Aces have been added to the ABA All Star teams that will compete next Sunday in Halifax, Nova Scotia as part of the gala ABA All Star Weekend.
According to league officials, "While not playing on top ranked teams, both of these players have competed at an extremely high level and are among the best in the league."West All Star: Terrell Hendricks, a 6'1", 185lb rookie point guard from the Maywood Buzz. Terrell is averaging 16.5ppg, 7.3rpg, 5.3apg - and will be entering both the 3-point shooting contest and the slam dunk contest (at six one) and "thinks I can win both." If you've seen him play, don't count him out.
East All Star: Alex Hill, a 6'5", 210 lbs guard from the Orlando Aces. Currently averaging 21.3ppg with 5rpg, Alex is a pure shooter with a 56%fgp who also plays strong defense and is a true floor leader.
